Beyond this library

Elsewhere

This library holds texts. It does not hold the living tradition, which belongs to the ashrams and communities below — some of them decades old, several founded by people who knew Babaji in the body. Where they can tell you something we cannot, we would rather send you to them.

Every link here was opened and checked before it was listed. A site is included only if it is genuinely concerned with the Haidākhan Babaji who appeared in 1970 and left the body in 1984 — not the generic Mahāvatār Babaji of popular literature, and not anyone claiming to channel or embody him now. Where we were unsure, we left it out.

Ashrams

The places themselves, and the trusts that keep them.

National and regional groups, in the countries where they meet.

Archives and collections

Teachings, recordings, photographs and papers gathered by others.

Reference

Encyclopaedic and scholarly treatments, for context.

Something missing, or something wrong?

This list is certainly incomplete, and links rot. If you keep a site that belongs here, or you find one below that has gone dark or changed hands, please tell us and we will put it right. We link freely and claim no association with anyone listed.
